What is included with Summer Clubs?

All supplies are included for each club.

For Fieldtrip Club, kids should plan to bring water and a snack for most fieldtrips. For longer ones (ie: Eagle Island and Sandy Point) kids should bring a water bottle, sack lunch, towel, and sunscreen.

Other summer clubs will often have a take-home project, but many will not. See the description for each class to see what the kids will bring home. Kids are always encouraged to bring a water bottle.

Can I sign my child up for more than one weekly drop off day?

Yes! Each session (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday) studies the same subjects with different lessons. For example, our history read-aloud books are different for each session, but all center around the same time (ie: The Revolutionary War). Our science units work in the same way, each session has a different lesson centered around the same subject (ie: Chemistry, Biology, etc). Language classes will learn some of the same material, presented in a different way.

Coming to more than one session per week gives students a deeper dive into each subject, and they participate in completely different lessons.
